Who I am

Scott Markovits — Fractional Growth Advisor & Neurodiversity Parent — Operator by trade.
Parent by stake.

15 years running strategy, operations, and growth at startups. 3 neurodiverse kids at home. This is the one space where my professional expertise and my personal life are exactly the same thing.

The founding story

It started at my own kitchen table.

I'm the father of 3 neurodiverse kids. I've watched them, up close and over years, navigate schools, systems, tools, and social structures not designed for how their brains work. I've sat in the meetings. I've read the reports. I've felt it when the wrong environment makes a child feel broken, and I've seen it when the right product, the right teacher, or the right framework makes everything click.

That's why I do this work. That's why I'm so passionate to help ND tech founders. To help others and to potentially help my own children.

When I tell a founder "I will pay more for something that works, built by a team I trust, who lives the story they're selling," I mean it literally. I'm that parent and the buyer your product is trying to reach, and I know what earns that trust and what burns it.

The operator story

I am not new to this work.
I am new to this vertical.

15 years in the operator seat

Helped scale InVision from $0 to $100M+ ARR, where I built every team in the company and ran growth strategies like SWAG and advocacy programs that turned free users into public champions ans social media virality. Strategiest and advisor at Bizzabo, Wibbitz, Type Studio, Bunch, and more, including multiple exits.

2,500+ founders advised

Across accelerators, mentorship networks, and 1:1 engagements. 0-1 and then 2-10 is where I thrive. The pattern recognition is the product: I've seen your problem before, at scale, more than once.

A year deep in ND tech

25+ founder conversations across the neurodiversity and disability tech ecosystem: Social Cipher, ModMath, BIP Visualized, Mindly, Zavikon, and more. Embedded with the accelerators, the angels, and the funds. Writing it all down in The Future of Work is Neurospicy.

For clarity, I am:

  • Not a DEI consultant
  • Not a clinical practitioner or therapist
  • Not a corporate neuroinclusion trainer
  • Not a theorist or researcher
  • An operator who runs the plays, lives the mission, and leaves you with something you can execute
